I think that a good investor must embrace financial analysis both from a fundamental and a technical point of view.
Fundamental analysis is important in discovering stocks that are mispriced, but also to acquire more confidence in entries purely technically based. I will publish my fundamental analyses both here or on SeekingAlpha.
Technical analysis (or investment timing) is likewise critical, because ultimately is the difference between the purchase price and the selling price that defines the return on investment. Technical analysis is also crucial to understand the underlying demand/supply dynamics of the market and making the right choice when to buy/sell/hold a security or just stay on the sideline. I will take trades accordingly to the volume spread analysis (VSA) principles. Positions will be taken on single stocks only when also the index will exhibit the same bias.
I also day trade the forex market applying the same principles.
During time, you will notice that my analyses and/or their format will change, that's because I'm always learning new things (I'm a level 3 candidate in the CFA program) and I'm always looking for improving/refining my method. For every suggestion, comment, critique, please contact me.
I live in Milan, Italy.
